The heavy roller chain belongs to transmission element and is consumable. It needs to be replaced regularly to ensure the normal operation of the equipment. When the sprocket needs to be replaced, the old sprocket needs to be removed and replaced with a new one, which requires professional personnel to operate. The sprocket factory will also give corresponding installation and use suggestions for different products, which can be used as a reference for users when installing sprockets. The sprocket factory processes and produces sprocket products of different models and specifications according to different equipment, and its structural performance is basically suppressed and the installation method is similar. When we choose sprockets, we should pay attention to selecting sprockets that match the equipment to ensure smooth installation and normal use.

Tension with tensioning device. When the center distance is not adjustable, use a tensioning wheel, which is generally pressed at the loose edge near the small wheel. The tension wheel can be a chain wheel or a toothless roller. The diameter of the tensioner should be similar to that of the small sprocket. The diameter of the roller is slightly smaller, the width should be about 5mm wider than the chain, and it is usually made of laminated bakelite. There are two types of tensioner: automatic tensioner and periodic tensioner. The former uses automatic tensioning devices such as springs and lifting weights. The latter uses adjusting devices such as bolts and eccentricity. In addition, there is also the use of pallet, pressure plate tension.

For open gear transmission or closed gear transmission containing unclean lubricating oil, due to the relative sliding between the meshing tooth surfaces, some hard abrasive particles enter the friction surface, thus changing the tooth profile and increasing the side clearance, so that the tooth is broken due to excessive thinning of the gear. Under normal circumstances, only when the lubricating oil is mixed with abrasive particles will wear the tooth surface abrasive particles during operation.
