If the heavy roller chain is not stored properly, it will have a great impact on its use. Only when it is stored correctly can the service life of the heavy roller chain be guaranteed. Before storing the heavy roller chain, the first thing to pay attention to is to clean the heavy roller chain, remove the greasy dirt on the chain surface and keep it dry. Then, when selecting the storage location, care should be taken not to place the heavy roller chain in a humid environment, which is easy to cause the heavy roller chain to rust. Scraper chains should not be placed in places with too high a temperature or direct sunlight, because too high a temperature will cause heavy roller chain to expand with heat and contract with cold, thus damaging the physical properties of heavy roller chain. It is best to store the heavy roller chain in a cool and dry place.

Oil bath lubrication or splash lubrication, both of which are sealed transmission cases, with part of the chain and sprocket of the former immersed in oil, while splash lubrication uses a larger diameter oil slinger to splash oil. Drop oil for lubrication, drop oil through the oil pipe to the gap between the inner and outer link plates at the loose edge. For oil injection lubrication under oil pump pressure, the oil pump is used to continuously supply oil to the heavy roller chain through the oil pipe, and the circulating oil can play the role of lubrication and cooling.

When the heavy roller chain is running, its surface has no device that can be used to protect it, so once there is dust in the air, the heavy roller chain will become very dirty. Moreover, due to the existence of lubricating oil on the surface of the product, the heavy roller chain will gradually turn black. In view of this situation, the first thing to do is to clean and lubricate the heavy roller chain regularly, especially after the chain is soaked, wipe off the excess lubricating oil until the surface of the heavy roller chain feels free of oil. This not only ensures the chain's dampening effect but also prevents dust from adhering.
